One of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the Baidyanath Temple is Jharkhand's most important pilgrimage site. During the Shravan Mela (July–August), millions of kanwariyas carry holy Ganga water on foot from Sultanganj (105km) to offer to Baba Baidyanath.
