About
The former Adil Shahi Sultanate capital (1489–1686) contains one of India's greatest Islamic architectural treasures — Gol Gumbaz, whose dome is the world's second largest after St. Peter's in Rome. The Whispering Gallery is legendary. Ibrahim Rauza reputedly inspired the Taj Mahal.
